Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafting
(SCCD1011)

Computer Aided Design (CAD) on desktop computers and via the cloud has brought 3D design within the scope of anyone interested in learning how to make 3D models for either professional or personal use.
During this course you will learn about and come to understand the fundamentals of how a CAD systems works, enabling you to produce 3D parts and assemblies, and to produce drawings, using the industry standard software Autodesk Inventor.

Digital Modelling 1 (SCDM1012)

This course introduces the specialist skills of 3D modelling and computer aided design principles by developing design skills using digital technology, skills in constructing working drawings and 3D models, and the conceptualising, presentation, layout and composition of designs.

Digital Modelling 2
(SCDM1013)

Using the creative design tools of various Autodesk software packages, students will develop proficiency in 2D and 3D design and drafting techniques, solid modelling, photo rendering, and the Australian drawing standards. Assessment will include 2 design projects.
