TAILORED FOR STUDENTS WITH A PASSION FOR FASHION LINES AND CREATIVE EXPRESSION

Fashion design is the art of application of aesthetic design to clothes and accessories. It is simultaneously a form of personal expression and a representation of cultural evolution. This course encompasses a range of topics, including basic skills to build a firm foundation in aesthetic and practical understanding of fashion designing, material matching, sketching, and also sewing.

Students will be taught pointers in fashion merchandising, fashion trends, fashion consultancy and fashion models. Presentation of design is a vital part of fashion marketing, so preparing models for the catwalk, make-up and hair styling, choreography and image dressing will be introduced to the students. Procurement of raw materials and textures will be addressed in the course to properly gear students for the challenging technical aspects of fashion design.

Individuality and identity plays an important role in fashion design, so students will also be able to opt for marketing their products with a personal brand.
